This video addresses the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just prior to Thotar will give you a taming Rod for just a Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a series of three taming rods, every one differs and allows you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and finally an Armored Scorpid.

After you this have finished the taming Section of The hunt chain, you need to head to Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot inside the Valley of Honor as a way to unlock your pet handling capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
